Monday, monday...

Still not happy with iphoto. My recent uploaded photos are still being held hostage... I will continue to be annoyed but patient...

The art room floor was being waxed last week. I've been banned one more day. Tomorrow I'm able to return but no skirts allowed. Miz D does such a great job with my shiny floors, they are practically like a mirror!

Play time is over. It's time to prepare the room for the beginning of school. Teachers report back in two weeks. Students return the week after that. Tomorrow I'll go in and begin... In the meantime...I spent most of yesterday on a bus driving up to Prescott. The Chicklet is away at Girl Scouts camp once again. A few moms ride up on the busses as chaperones and then we're returned to Phoenix.Sure is a change in temperature/scenery from Phoenix. After sitting in the bus for a couple of hours it feels great to get out of the bus. The first thing that hits you is the realization that you're not entering an oven. The next is the scent of pine in the air.The sky is a pure, clear, blue. I might look like an idiot standing there, deep breathing clean air until it's time to get back on the bus. It's a small pleasure. I'll be making the return trip at the end of the week to pick up tired but happy campers. I'll be standing there like an idiot once more with a big smile on my face. I'll have camera in hand too. The Chicklet wasn't into having her pic taken on the bus...

The skies were full of clouds yesterday. It was going to rain somewhere but not in my backyard. I was out in the yard at 10pm last night. There was a light breeze which made being outdoors bearable. I played Mother Nature and watered plants that are not on irrigation.

I could have started howling in the light of the full moon. Could have, but didn't...

Garden construction began this time last year. I don't want to remember what the house looked like before that. Aside from the loss of 3 of 5 Desert Marigolds, all the plants and trees have grown and thrived. It is a pleasure to look out my windows every day.
