Picture-less

Took a bit of "a break" and traded in the Arizona desert for a California one. Big whoop! Heat to heat is rarely my idea of excitement but it was a weekend I couldn't miss. Dad turned 80 this weekend. I didn't get any pictures! I was too busy chowing down, catching up and enjoying the company of family and friends.

The Chicklet and I had an uneventful drive home Sunday night. We so wanted to eek out another day or two and drive out to LA and the beach. As tempting as it was, I had to get back to have the Girls taken care of before the landscape crew showed up first thing Monday morning.

I woke up this morning to the sound of scraping and the Bobcat is doing it's thing in the front yard as I write. Work in the back yard started full steam ahead yesterday. Friea is excited and Carmen is a bit confused.

I'll have a construction update later today. We're back to our usual Summer schedule. The Chicklet goes off to camp, I'll have a morning swim and a friend and I are going to check out a new exhibition. Yea!
