Banding Day. That was today. If you've been through it, you know what I'm referring too. The Chicklet got her braces today. She picked orange and lime green. Yummy, like fruit. Poor thing is shocked to realize it hurts to eat anything. She's not a happy camper.
She's conked out on my bed. Ibupofren, soup, a shower....nothing helped except for some cuddling and a good back scratch. Some rain to break the humidity wouldn't hurt.
Been working on a new composition book. I'm liking it a lot.

awww, I remember those days...Hope she is feeling better soon. I remember even shaving corn off the cob so I could eat it.
ReplyDeleteWe're eating a lot of soup...She's much better but it's still uncomfortable. We're having a lot of smoothies for breakfast!

braces definitely weren't fun, but they WERE definitely worth it! I ate a lot of mac and cheese on the days when I had ortho appointments- iboprofen beforehand definitely also helps... at least she gets to have fun with the rubber band colors!!
ReplyDeleteShe chose orange and lime green. They look great but it's amazing how different she looks. Have to remember to get a picture tomorrow to commemorate the occasion.
